Vicky- The Demodecosis attack

For quite sometimes i have been hiding Vicky behind the bar... She is little ugly duckling that attacked by nasty mites that is popular to puppy namely : Demodecosis or Red Mange..

All dogs raised normally by their mothers possess this mite as mites are transferred from mother to pup via cuddling during the first few days of life. Most dogs live in harmony with their mites, never suffering any consequences from being parasitized. If, however, conditions change to upset the natural equilibrium (such as some kind of suppression of the dog's immune system), the Demodex mites may "gain the upper hand." The mites can cause serious skin disease.

I suppose this mites overdose Vicky during her transit from KL-KK... Being a pampered puppy in her x master's, she was totally lost that she has to be quarantined for a month and being a pug, seperation anxiety is the most common issue that cause stress to them..

Poor Vicky,Her condition gets worsen from small black patches to big rashes that contains water and "nanah"...
The patches in her eyes and right hind leg, is

an absolute pain in my heart... she is now going through an 8 weeks Ivermectin Injection that really cause a lot of stress to me and her.. However, i still dont see any improvement in her.. situation get worst and her under carriage has develop more rashes...
On the third week, i couldnt bare to see Vicky situation and i brought her again to SAMC.. this time, vet gave me a bathing medicated treatment dip, namely Tactic... it smells like carosine ! but it works... its a no rinse soap free medicine that penetrate from the outer layer of the skin..

I have done some research on this Killing skin desease, it is contageous to other dogs and if its severe it can contageous even to cat and human... gross~ but Yiak i m in the industry..

So vicky really needs help... emotionally, medically and even financially...Vicky.. please get well soon and you will be able to join the others again...
