How to Potty Trained your New Puppy

Now, most of the puppy owner i met complain a lot on the potty problems of their in house fur kids. Some puppies are easy house trained however, some are forgetful especially during excitement, or looking for attention from their master.

There are various ways of potty trained :

A) newspaper trained
B) Disposable potty carpet
C) potty woodchips or crate training.

Newspaper trained are usually for puppies whom are 3 months to 5 months old. Once they are getting older, newspaper is not really as useful as most dogs understand their smells and mark their territory for their potty.

It is always good to set a timing for your dogs potty( poo poo) , after feeding them, try have a soft play and bring them out for a slow walk, this is best for them to release themselve as well as let them understand its time for potty.

My dog, Baby use to potty right after dinner ( around 20 minutes later) however after she has use to poo poo in her potty, she started to have her own schedule and never wants me to get close to her while she is doing her business.

She sniffs around and take her time, sometimes i left the poo poo for an hour or two just to let the smell slightly remain as dogs always goes back to the sma spot same smell for their business everyday...

Perhaps you can give it a try, remember, reminding them, persistant on their behavior, rewards and patience is very important to house train you dog... Good luck and happy trainning

Another Emotional triggered Movie- Beyong A Reasonable Doubt

Despite the Kids movie on Doggie's stories like : Marley & Me, The Dogs Hotel as well as American Chihua hua... here comes a movie catered for Adult which as emotionally and adrenaline triggered "Beyond Reasonable Doubt"... this movie is yet to release in Malaysia. Just cant wait to watch another emotionally attach movies on dogs ...

Itsssss ~ Show Time! 7th MKA International Dog Show!

This is the first time ever, Baby -The pug is going to perform in Sabah land below the wind. She use to watch her x-boyfriend Paco and Boofie go on agility show.. Finally its her turn now! She is so excited to meet her furry friends, and finally she get to be welcome and overwhlemed instead of being scared off by kids...

Now here are the details of the show:-

Date: 7th June 2009

Venue : 1 Borneo, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Time : 10am- 4pm

These are the categories of competition Baby-The Pug has Joined :

1) 7th FCI International Dog Show 2008

2) 277th Malaysia Kennel Club ( ABC) Show

and last

3)Malaysian Bred Show

Dogs can be overly excited when meeting their friends and humankind.. see what happen to Baby the Pug?

Once they were down, the first thing to do is sniffing around to get to know about each other and also the environment.

In a Dog socialization pack, there were also anti social pup whom are shy to join in the play..

As usual our resident Pug will take care of the ice breaking session :)

They had great time with their playing mate despite the limited compund that allows them to gallop.

The passion in Companion Dogs

I notice the owner and lovers of dogs are becoming more and more in Sabah here, society started changing by having more companion dogs( pure breed Canine) instead of Kampung dogs. Pets shops as well are mushrooming to supply necessary needs for the household fury kids.

Why does dog as pet becoming more and more well known in Sabah? Generally, dogs are human characeristic pets that supports human emotionally and physically.elderly master that have dogs has proven fact that it helps them reduce their blood pressure and depression.

However, sometimes we get very annoyed when we have limited compound like in terrace house or apartment, condo and yet we want to have a dog as our companion at home. This is the reason why dog basic obedient trainning is very important in order to send the right message and trainning to our new fury member right after they join the family. This well make our dogs and us a happier family and more fullfilled and fun life....

Expenditure: this is also one matter i have to mentioned, buying a dog which cost more then RM1000 doesnt mean that its the end of your pet spending expenditure, it is the beggining of the expenditure and you have no choice but add on another coloumn of dog's monthly expenses in your monthly budget journal. :)
